The first visually impaired singer to be engaged by the Royal Opera House, Clare helped to devise and took part in major workshop/performances based on "The Magic Flute", "La Boheme" and "Peter Grimes". She helped to devise a dance performance at the Royal Opera House's "Linbury Theatre", in which she danced and sang as soloist. She has led numerous singing workshops, for the likes of Graeae Theatre Company, Birmingham International Women's Festival, Children's Music Workshop, Dumfries and Galloway Festival, Telegraph Hill Festival in London, the RNIB; for Artibility at a number of elderly care homes in the Medway Towns; Emma Reynolds Stage School in Dartford; Equal Arts and Them Wifies in Newcastle and a number of summer schools for children with severe learning difficulties in the London Borough of Bexley. Clare co-led a major workshop/performance for The Meltdown Festival on London's South Bank and, with leading music educator Sean Gregory, devised and co-led several opera workshops at Moor Hall School in Folkestone. The latter were based on Sean and Clare's song "Guy Fawkes", and culminated in a public performance.
In the course of regular work in a number of Kent primary schools, Clare was examined by Ofsted three times: receiving a glowing report on each occasion. She has worked extensively with both adults and children with learning difficulties: leading weekly music workshops: plus performing herself and arranging concerts given by fellow professionals.
